Well, well. Apparently this lighthouse de-staffing thing has been put on hold. The Canadian Press explains: Fisheries Minister Gail Shea has ordered a review of Coast Guard plans to automate lighthouses in British Columbia and Newfoundland and Labrador. A few days I posted a photo of the Entrance Island lighthouse, seen from the bluff. This photo was taken from the same place, and of the same view… but in the fog. Foggy mornings make me happy.
