ad-free blogGabriolan.ca is an ad-free blog. That means nobody pays us to say anything, and there are no advertisements anywhere on the site.

Now, that doesn’t mean that we will never mention any business. We may mention a business, or we may not. But whatever you read here, it will be the opinion of the blogger who wrote an article, not the opinion of some advertiser. Nobody pays us to say good things about this business or bad things about that business.

Same thing with products. If you read good or bad things about some product here, it means you’re reading the opinion of a blogger who doesn’t get paid for saying specific things about any product.

We don’t use affiliate links, either. So if we link to a product on some other website, we link to it just because it’s relevant to the blog post. If you buy that product, we don’t get a kick-back or any profit or credits of any sort.

So, how does Gabriolan.ca make money, then? It doesn’t. We pay for the blog’s webhosting ourselves in order to keep the blog ad-free. We choose not to clutter the place up with advertising because we don’t like that kind of thing ourselves. We want to treat you the way we wish all websites would treat us.
