Two new Gabriola trail licences
Gabriola Land and Trails Trust (GaLTT) reports that they’ve signed two new trail licences:
One is for public use of a trail system on land informally called Wise Acre Woods, which connects Petroglyph Road with the petroglyph site behind the United Church. This trail system is mostly unmarked at this time.
The other, called Wilkinson Way, runs through Dean Gaudry’s land from South Road to 707-acre Community Park. The trail’s entrance on South Road will be between Crestwood and Dogwood, just north of the entrance to the long-used private gravel road through the same property.
Fine news for hikers!
