After the fire
The news on Gabriola is the fire we had yesterday, and this photo shows part of the result: you’re looking at a burned tree, with South Road in the background.
The fire, by the way, was just a short way from South Road and Wharf – pretty much across the street from the mailboxes. Here are three four more photos in case you’re curious about what the burned area looks like now.

Thanks for posting these. Do you have any info on the other fire, the one at the south end?
