On running and research and gene switching, oh my!
We’ve got a lot of dedicated runners on Gabriola. We even have a couple of running events, like the Brickyard Beast, and, um, something else. Terry Fox Run, maybe? You can tell I’m not that kind of runner. In fact, I am barely any kind of runner.
Would you take up running if you could be really good at it and super fast? Science is gaining on fantasies like this. The Guardian reports: Soon science could enable us all to run as fast as Usain Bolt.
