watercarEarlier this summer I saw a very peculiar vehicle parked outside Mad Rona’s. It was a car, but an odd-looking one: it had a hull, and a propeller mount. Maybe it was one of these WaterCars.

Anyway, doesn’t this look like a fun way to get to town? Gabriola to Nanaimo would take a couple of minutes in one of these, and you wouldn’t have to wait in the ferry line up.
