Taxi rides instead of HandyDart

The Taxi Saver program is used throughout the province for those who would qualify to use HandyDart but there is no service available,Pearce said. [continue]

Although this maybe a decent plan for a situation where there is more than ONE taxi, on Gabriola, the rest of the island will be WITHOUT taxi service while the single cab does the ‘taxi saver’ runs.

rick the person who is in the program needs no special run the only change is who pays. They would be able to purchase 80dollars worth of rides for 40 dollars every 4 months .This will lessen the cost to people in need and the economic stimulus to the taxi could make for a positive out come for every one .
