Treehugger points out a brilliant design: a w.indow blind that doubles as a drying rack. Those building small houses on the island might be particularly interested.

I love the concept—something so obvious, yet not. Not much on blinds, mind you, but since I have a small home perhaps I can make one that doesn’t hide so much of the view, something shoji-like, for the shower/bath window, a place to hang the ‘delicates’ as my mum used to call them. Thank you, Gabriolan; must get out my graph paper!
