Today’s Gabriola jellyfish
Here’s one of the jellyfish I see around Gabriola quite a bit. It’s a clear jellyfish, with four pink sections inside. Last year I showed you the same kind of jellyfish floating in a tide pool at Whalebone.
One of these days maybe I’ll figure out what it’s called.

I believe that this might be a common variety known as the Moon Jellyfish.

Thanks also to Cheryl, who commented last June that the jellyfish I saw in the tidal pool could be a moon jellyfish.
Between the three of you, I’m now confident that I know what this jellyfish is.
