hammock, suspended from Gabriola cedar treesI’m a happy camper. See that, over there between the trees? It’s my new hammock, and it’s a very fine thing indeed. It’s got built-in mosquito mesh, so no bugs will bite me while I snooze. One enters this hammock from underneath. There’s no fussing with zippers, and no chance for bugs to get in. It’s comfy. I’ve got a fly to go with it, too. It sets up in seconds, rocky ground is never a worry, and it’s lighter than a tent. Why didn’t I think of getting one of these years ago?

I might take this with me on hikes, because an afternoon nap in the Gabriola woods would be ever so peaceful and restorative. If you happen upon my hammock one afternoon, don’t startle me awake, ok?
