Morel in a Gabriola garden
This seems to be a morel mushroom, which is good news right there. Better news: it appeared in a Gabriola garden, along with some others. Best news: it appeared in my Gabriola garden!

Morels, especially when this colour, always remind me of the towers of La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Or perhaps Gaudi intended that the towers would remind us of morel mushrooms? Coincidentally, I had dinner at a restaurant in Barcelona that specialises in wild mushrooms.
