It’s some nasty automated calling system, and what it says when you answer is local septic tank owners. … I never get any further than that, because I hang up. But, hmm, maybe I should have listened last time, because then I’d know which company is responsible for this nonsense, and hence which company to avoid until the end of time. I don’t suppose you know who’s behind it all, do you?

I thought maybe these calls were targeting Gabriola, but it seems more widespread than that. Cenobyte.ca gets them, too, and she’s in Saskatchewan.

If only I had a solution like the one this guy used to get rid of his fax spam.
