Ready for snow, Gabriola?
Remember last winter? All that snow was beautiful, but my there was a lot of it. (If your memory is fading, peek at the blog posts about snow on Gabriola last year.)
I made lots of snow-based resolutions then, all along the lines of I Will Be Better Prepared Next Year. With that in mind, I had snow tires put on my car the other day.
Just so you know: if it doesn’t snow at all on Gabriola this winter, it will be because I bought snow tires in October.
On the other hand, have you seen the weather forecast for next week? For Thursday it says Cloudy with 60 percent chance of rain showers or flurries.
Oh, Environment Canada. You’re using the f-word already.
Update: Environment Canada changed the forecast for Thursday. Whew.
