How to get into the water
I wish I’d discovered this method years ago. Listen, when you’re at the beach and planning to go for a swim, try this way to get yourself into the water.
- Wade in until the water is up to your hips or your waist.
- Stretch your arms out for balance, and spin around and around and around and around, as fast as you can. More, more, more! Pretend you are a spinning top or a whirling dirvish.
- Continue until you’re so dizzy that you topple into the water, laughing like a mad thing.
This is astonishingly fun.
(Not recommended for non-swimmers.)
