This is what I’ve learned about garden soil lately:

  1. The Gabriola garden lady was right when she said we’d save money and get better quality soil if we were to order from these guys.
  2. The truck driver from Cinnabar Valley is incredibly talented, and can get this truck through our twelve-foot gate and down our driveway without bumping anything.
  3. There’s nothing like 16 yards of soil to make a person believe that the garden project is actually getting somewhere after all.
  4. A giant pile of topsoil is just a little intimidating.
