If you’re interested in Gabriola writers, turn on your radio. Today (April 21st) sometime between 4pm and 6pm, Sandy Duncan and George Szanto will be interviewed on CBC Radio 1 (690 AM) about their book, Never Sleep With a Suspect on Gabriola Island: An Islands Investigations International Mystery.

(At least that’s what the email from Pages Resort and Marina tells me.)

If you miss it, I bet you’ll be able to find the interview on CBC’s All Points West website in a day or two; then you can listen to it online.

Update and rant:

I listened to CBC for most of those two hours, and holy smoke, that is one boring radio show. Most of the content consisted of Vancouver traffic reports, blabbing about some stupid hockey thing, and horrible, horrible music. I finally had to turn it off, so I don’t know if our Gabriola writers were on the show or not… although I doubt it.

The CBC used to be wonderful, but now it’s become so much like commercial radio that I don’t see why we would want to fund it with tax dollars anymore. What’s the point? You want good radio? Listen to BBC Radio 4 on the web.
